Assignment One: Disposable

Dan Weeks, a gardener at Western Washington University, clears a pathway near College Hall on Monday, Sept. 26 after a windstorm. The wind reached 46 mph and temperatures dropped to a high of 62 degrees that day. Weeks cleared three bucket-loads of debris around the building and will clear the pathway up to the Ridgeway residence hall. By the end of the day he will make sure all the sidewalks are clear and the water is running down freely. “It’s hard to keep the area clear, especially when it might rain again tomorrow.”
